4D Legacy Attends The Virtual American Film Market 2020
Last month 4D Legacy Studios had the opportunity to attend the virtual 2020 American Film Market (AFM) which was held November 9th -13th. During these five action-packed days, we connected with film industry professionals from all over the world - from Poland to Argentina. Film creatives shared their visions, expertise, and experiences with one another while connecting on their passion for the industry. The event was valuable for all types of professionals in the film industry regardless of their specialty or number of years of experience. Whether you're a screenwriter wanting to learn more about the industry, a distributor looking to purchase a film, or a director looking to share your knowledge as a featured conference speaker, there is value for all. We were excited to join the collective effort to propel the industry forward by sharing our recently completed trailer (linked here for your viewing pleasure).
Typically, AFM is held in person with companies traveling from all over the world to attend. However, this year the team hosted the event online to keep its attendees safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. Although we missed the opportunity to meet face-to-face with others, AFM did an incredible job transitioning the event to the virtual world. A virtual campus allowed attendees to select different stages to hop around the platform based on what they were interested in doing. We attended roundtable discussions, watched live presentations, networked with others, and even streamed our very own trailer to prospective distributors and buyers.
Our main objective was to make meaningful connections in an effort to sell our first feature film Pride Jewel. We’ve spent the last month hosting calls with potential distributors and buyers and are so grateful for the networking opportunity AFM provided us. 4D Legacy Studios is excited to continue its film journey and will be premiering Pride Jewel early next year (2021). We can’t wait to share our film with you and to continue producing exciting content for our fans.
